Talking Cam suggestions?

I'm going to be getting a cam package sometime soon, but I don't want anything to big. I want good power throughout my whole RPM. I was thinking of getting a custom cam, but I want something proven. I used to have a TR224/224 114LSA, but I never installed it. I might decide to get that cam again, but have it on a 112LSA. Is there any other cams that you guys would prefer over the TR224's? I've read a lot about the TR224's and how they're a good street cam, but I just wanted to get as much info as possible before I purchase.

BayAreaSS & Kingc8r if you're reading, don't worry because the clutch is going in before the cam. LOL

Maybe the TSP 228r cam which I believe is 588 lift would be a great cam for a 6-speed car if you decide to go off-the-shelf.

If you are in calif and expecting to pass emissions the 224/224 is about as large as you can go ...

I was going to go with futral but decided on a MS3 cuz i found a brand new one for $200. I daily this cam and it is just fine.... dont worry about too big. If you have a competent tuner available then you should be fine.

224s are cool, but aren't a max effort cam. I guess it really depends on what you want out of the car AJ

I don't really daily drive my SS, but I just want something streatable. Also, I don't plan on passing emissions here in CA.

If I go with a big cam won't I have to change valve springs every 15,000 or so miles? That's what I was told and I haven't really researched
on big cams.

Basically, I want a good all around performing cam with good power/torque throughout my whole power band.
