Default bull's eye on block what does that mean?
a friend of mine was telling me i had a bull's eye on my block and said i had the LS6 block.. its a 2001 ss

If it has xxxxx1168 casting numbers at the left rear of the block right at the deck just below the head gasket, it's an LS6 block (might need to use a small mirror on your car).
LS6 blocks started being used from 2001.
Mines a Dec 2001 build and had an LS6 block.

I believe that the blocks that didnt have the bullseye were LS6 blocks. The ones that had the bullseye were LS1 blocks, thats what everyone told me.
