Default 1.7 rockers with stock cam/heads

Replacing the valve springs in my stock LS1 so I figured I would do rocker arms while im in there since I will need them in the future anyways...

Am I ok doing this, dont have to worry about piston to valve clearance or anything? Sticking with the LS6 valvesprings so I shouldnt have to check for install height either correct?

Umm I believe stockers are 1.7s. As a matter of fact I'm almost sure they are. So if you want to go bigger you'll have to step to a 1.8

Stockers are 1.7, if I where you I would get some 7.4 hardened pushrods if you don't have them already. Just a little insurance if you know what I mean. If you are planning on cam-ing later on I wouldn't get 1.8s if I where you (pending on the amount of lift you plan on). You don't have to check PTV clearance in my opinion with a stock setup.
