380 is good for cam only with bolt-ons . . . buddy of mine did 381 with his hot cam through a 3000 stall and now my recommendations lol pulley, RR a smaller stall lol and bigger injectors

For the size of cam you are running I wouldn't even bother with a fast. Why do you care about that magic 400hp anyway? With a 224/230 581/592 114, vig 3200, hooker longtubes, ls6 manifold, and a cutout my car only made 351rwhp! I was so angry when I saw the numbers, but when I pull up to a car with a lumpy cam and give him a run for his money I can honestly say that I like having a car with low #'s for my mods. People just don't expect the car to do sh*t and it suprises everyone!

380 stalled is most likely more than 400rwhp.

Not much you can do really, because for one...It's not going to be cheap... and two it might require heads...
My recommendation is:
1 7/8th's Headers
Pulley
EWP
CUTOUT

That would probably get you there, but for all that money you can get heads...See what I'm saying?

lol, the magic 400, idk its just a goal of mine ive had since i first got the car. honestly as for track times, i havent ran it since stock.. i think it would be good for a mid to low 7's all motor, and on the bottle im looking for a 6.9.. My car pulls like a beast, so idk why im so concerned about dyno sheets, but i am. My car mainly sees street action, where she has some very impressive wins. thanks for all the replies guys!

How about a FAST set up? That would net you what you are looking for. I would get a FAST set up and a pulley. DEFINATELY be 400 then. You're already making good numbers for a stalled A4 car but you could do that and have it.

i picked up 34rwhp with my ported FAST 90/90.. if it were me, id get it... it will put you a few over 400 and you will have room to grow... whether it be a bigger cam, or a stroker motor.. you can always have that intake.. just a unported one would do you fine, you wont benefit too much from a port on one.. you can pick up a used combo for around 800-900...

water pump... you wont pick up much and they are expensive..
pulley.. only good for about 5rwhp max and its expensive for that little amount..
i saw where someone said cutout.. i dont know your exhaust setup, but that can free up around 15-20 hp if you have restrictive muffler and you can get a manual for around 20 bucks..

of course you could always do.......

ls6 intake and port your TB..
buy a set of used stock ls6 heads..

cheaper than a fast 90/90 you can port your heads later when you have money.. and gain a little more than you would from just a fast..
stock ls6 heads are good for 20hp.. ls6 intake is good for around 12-15hp..
then if you need to sell your intake and put it towards a fast..

BTW, you have good numbers already man... be happy, even if you dont hit 400..

You sound just like me bro. I bought a used 90/90 and just sent it off to get ported. I'm adding the intake, 85mm truck MAF, new injectors and a tune. I plan on getting it dyno'd on the same dyno that put me @ 387 cam only with current mods. (that was with a larger converter too) 400 just sounds nice too.

What's your exhaust setup?

btw, all the money that was spent on those mods could have bought me heads, but it is a lot easier to swap when you don't have a garage.

Yeah intake is a lot easier to do and faster than head swap. I was lazy too this year, I was hesitating between intake or cam, and I went witht he easier way..even if the cam would have yeld me better gains.
