How much would it cost to rebuild? I'm weighing out options right now and really want to cam my car. I want to do it right so that I can spin it to 6500+ rpm and be somewhat safe about it. My motor has 182K on it and I would overhall it before the stock internals are touched. I'm looking to install new rod bearings, arp rod bolts, etc. What exactly is needed? I plan on re using the stock crank, so is there any need for machine work?

Re:How much would it cost to rebuild? I can tell you my car has 117K on it and i twist it to 6850 alot, If i was you i would not just replace the rod bearings without having a machine shop check the rods and crank.
