Sorry, man. Head bolts are a one-time-use only. They are torqued to spec, then you use a bolt-angle socket to apply a certain amount of twist to each bolt. This twist results in more clamping force on the components that are bolted together. Good luck with your install.

Just make sure the head bolt holes are CLEAN and most important DRY...If there's any coolant or liquid in there when you go to tighten the bolts it will crack the block since the fluid has nowhere to go. If the bolts go in and get "spongy" or dont go in by hand theres something wrong.....If you have any junk down the threads I have some bolts I grounded flutes in to act as a tap if you need any....Works great to clean any junk out of the threads

Exactly as mentioned. New bolts (I'd recommend going to studs) and make sure the holes are totally clean.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO and if I didn't make my self clear NO. You will be sorry if you do spend a few dollars and get new ones. Specially if your doing a head cam swap. That is the most intricate part of your build it keeps your heads on, they take all the brunt in the compression part of the cycle. And you want to take new heads and attach them with the old bolts. Let me ask you would you use the stock springs on a new cam I mean just clean them off and make sure they are square right. Better yet take your oil after a hard night of running at the track at about 3000k miles let it out strain it to make sure there are no shavings in it and re use it.

Buy a set of ARP head bolts and be done with it... If you ever decide to change heads or have any problems you can re-use them. They are more expensive than the stock bolts but are much easier to torque as well!!!!
