How long do you use the break in oil after a heads cam install? Ive heard between 100-200 miles.

I would change it when the car comes off the dyno. Then maybe about 500 miles. After that, change it normaly.

Well it might be next week before I hit the dyno. I lost my job last week and I wont get my last check till tomorrow. I've put 122 miles on the oil and new top end now.

I wouldn't have run any to begin with...you're not breaking in new rings...if you kept things clean during the install, there shouldn't be anything abnormal in the oil anyways.

Shouldnt be that big a deal with just changing the heads and cam. But I would do it at 500 miles just to be safe.

I changed my oil right after the dyno & drivability tune was spot on.
But I just used my regular oil.

Your not really breaking anything in but I would change it after maybe 500 hundred miles just because I had it apart. But you shouldn't run it much without tuning.
