why would u throw an ms4 in a car with that little of a stall? what gears are you running? Are you planning on running this cam with the 1.8 rockers you have in your sig? I dont know for sure but I wouldn't think that would be the best idea given the nature of that cam. However I am a bit of an amateur to this aswell, if I am wrong someone feel free to correct me.

Like everyone else said, bad combo... you'll need at least a 3800+ stall and fly cut the pistons for the MS4. If you want to keep your stall look for like a TR220 cam etc. They make great power.
My old combo was a stock 346, Texas Speed 231/237 .598/.595 cam, stock LS6 heads, LS6 intake, Headers, 3.73 gears and ran mid 11's in the 1/4 and very high 10's on a 75 shot.

we put a ms4 in a stock bottom end ls1 and didnt have to fly cut but that was with the tsp stage 1 ls6 ported heads. sorry didnt see that you were wanting to run the 2.5's but the stage 1's made good numbers with the ms4 somewhere in the 430-440 range with a fast 92

i have stock everything as of now i just purchased the heads looking for a good combo for this base i know i have to revert back to 1.7 rockers no big deal i still have my stockers till i get another set of rollers so a 4000 stall would be best i think i will go with a ms3 so i dont have to flycut

I am finding out the hard way on stall size. I would say if you are wanting to run any of the larger cams ms3, ms4, tsunami, etc. you should probably go with at least a 3800+ stall.

Why dont you just call TSP. Tell them your whole combo so far and theyll give you an honest answer as to what cam would be best for your setup. Tell them the truth about what you have. Don't say that you have 3.73 gears if you only have 3.08 or your car will be lazy off the line. What I did when I called for my cam was tell them everything I had and that it was pretty much a full weight car and that I wanted the cam that would make my car go the fastest with my setup and that I didn't care about peak numbers. I don't plan on racing a dyno. haha

We have engine dyno data for those combos I can get you tomorrow morning. If your in the Texas area we can even spend some time on the engine dyno comparing cylinder head options for you. The best way to purchase a combo you'll be happy with is to research extensively. I personally prefer the LS6 heads with the stage 2.5 valve combo. That will require valve reliefs iwth the MS4 camshaft, but if you cut the pistons you can setup compression to help the larger camshaft really shine!

I was told that the 215s from tsp don't require any fly cutting and they have more clearence than stock ls1 heads, call texas speed they can match a set of heads with the ms4 that don't require flycutting ,the stage 1 ls6 heads from tsp will also work,I got this info from texas speed, always call and double check with tsp before you order but all this info is from them,
