HELP swapped engine,NO OIL PRESSURE
I just finished my engine swap today on my 98 Z28.It fired up fine but there is no oil pressure at all.I tried it 3 times in 10 second intervals and still nothing how do I know if the sending unit is bad or my oil pump or wires or gauge?please help

Pull off the oil fill cap and see if there is oil on the rockers. You could also pull the rocker covers and check for oil up top. If you have oil go after the sending unit. If not check the oil pump O ring and pump.

Is the battery fully charged? Is the motor spinning pretty fast? Also, how long did the motor sit since it was last running?
I had to pack my pump with a little bit of lube to get suction so it would pull the oil out of the pan. And crank the motor fast until we seen oil up top.

This makes sense to me I think I'm gonna try this next cus it has been sitting for about a year.I sprayed the whole thing down with oil and lubed what I could.I'm afraid to turn it on now or even turn it over
