well............had to add 20%fuel right off the bat. Then had to keep adding. Soooooo I need a new pump. Made 309hp on mustang dyno. I don't even remember torque. I don't have a dyno sheet but the line was really jagged. Only made a couple pulls. I'm not really concerned about numbers as I am with what the car feels and drives like. So until I get a new pump that's where I'm at.

something is not right man...i wouldnt think you would have maxed out the injectors being cam only either...even if the converter is unlocked they seam low to me...how does the car feel otherwise...sounds like there is more bugs in the system...

I think we only took it to 6k if even that. I have 130k on a stock pump. Surely that's the issue. Car feels awesome driving wise. 309 on a mustang is about 350 on dynojet.

Man this is disappointing to hear, I was hoping for some better numbers for you....309, I thought it was a typo too. Well is the valvetrain noise gone and is it running better than before? I'm sure theres gotta be more power hidden in there.

yeah valvetrain noise is gone and car runs LOTS stronger just from the minimal gains I was able to get. Yes their is obviously more power to be had. Once I get a new pump in we can run it a little harder. I'm not too worried about it at the moment.

Well get the fuel issue figured out and get that thing back on the dyno or better yet down to the track.

My friend had an El Torro in his cam only goat and he shifted it at 6800 with a rev limiter of 7000. I'm sure you have a lot of power to be gained just from taking it higher also.

well if your turning 6800 with only half the fuel psi you need then yes your down on power big time. Put a new pump in and run the hot wire kit for the pump as well should dyno alot higher

interesting. So you guys think the stock pump/ injectors is maxed out on a cam only car making 309rwhp? Well definitely keep us posted on what your new #'s are after the fuel issue is solved.

well at least the upside to this is is much easier to fix a fuel problem than a spun bearing because of an oil problem.

With the 409 in your sig would only be about 360-370 on a Mustang dyno if those are Dynojet #s. My guess is around 350 with his mods on a Mustang.
