If anybody has their intake off could you please measure the distance from the back of the block to the cowl?

Not planning on pulling the motor, But I just read the new i/c vette magnacharger is shorter then the regular one, I think it might fit? I just want to get some measurements.
should of aske me last week, i had everything off during my head swap. why dont you just take your intake off, it dont take but an hour to take it off and reinstall it.

Ill get to that I was just figuring 1000s of members here someone will have their intake off,

dale thanks but I dont think theres any thing elses to refrence to, unless maybe from the back of block to the top of valve cover at a 90 degree.

From the valley cover to the lowest hump in the cowl is 7.5" and from the back of the block to the cowl is 8 1/4"
damn i am bored lol it's 5:00 am and im measuring my cowl lol...one thing i was thinking is...shim your K member down a little?..me and a buddy of mine where looking at this with an australlian root's blower for the monaro's...could be onto something..anyway's good luck!

lol no problem man...hope it all work's out..and if you do it get some pic's of the install! but shimming the K member down 1/2 inch should give you plenty of clearance...just use some 1/2" steel plate,cut the hole for the bolts and trim the plate to the size you need...it should work flawlessly...and there is no need to adjust anything else since it would only change your pinion angle about 1 degree and the drop isnt far enough to damage anything suspention wise either..Best of luck to you bro,
