Default Cometic install

Any special install prep? On my Buick I used Copper spray but don't know if it is needed on the LS. Everyone use the stock torque sequence and specs?

I didn't use any copper spray on my cometics, (some do) I just wiped the block, heads and head gaskets with some brake cleaner and put the heads on. Torque specs... I used gm's torque order and arps torque value for the studs. If your using gm bolts torque them to oem specs.

No leaks here, I do use studs over the bolts. I have also removed the heads and reinstalled them on the same gaskets too. What ever you decide to do take your time and clean the **** out of the decks and heads with brake or carb cleaner. Also before you start cleaning blow all the head bolt holes in the block out with air.

New Patriot heads so should be okay there. I will get some GM Top Engine cleaner to do the block. What's the latest verdict on using spray? I did a search and some do/ some don't.
