New Trickflow's and torque is weak.

and not bad on your ball park of 150 mph...I know a 62 Catalina that puts down 900hp+ at 3300 lbs and traps 150mph...

Wow, ressurection of an old thread about TFS 215's has become an argument about drag racing.
Any of the recent posters have an opinion as to why the OP is not making the torque he was looking for? My theory was he needs another 1/2 point of compression.

No argument here,it's only a discussion on my part. Additional compression certainly would help it appears...he has 59cc heads so the compression should be adequate you would think.

Torque the force that acts to produce rotation as in an automotive vehicle. As in my earlier example using a nitrous car vs a supercharger car with comparable HP/TQ dyno numbers. The advantage will go to the nitrous car...say at a 30 mph roll race...why because the nitrous car will have (using my cars numbers) 580 ft lbs of torque at 3400 rpm's with only 360 HP at said rpm. On the other hand the centrifugal supercharged car will be lucky to have 400 ft lbs of torque at 3400 rpm with approximately the same HP as the nitrous car at said rpm. So you tell me which car is going to pull harder at the get go? It's the nitrous car no doubt and the supercharged car will no way in hell catch up form 30 mph to 150 mph.

If your car was an M6 it would've made even more torque. Your car isn't a fair comparison either, its a freak !! At any rate its not about comparing your car to his, its about figuring out why he didn't make 420 rwtq or so like he expected and many before him have made.

There can be various results generated by () the laws of physics it's just how that law is applied in relationship to the examples given. Obviously no one example here is all encompassing...various outcomes!!
