Yeah, that's my baby (pewter/black C5 vert) with the gloss black Z06 rims on it! I like your radical selection of that 250/244 cam. That no doubt is one of the biggest hyd. cams that i have seen used. That car is a BEAST no DOUBT!
Just received an email from Jayson at MTI sending me some pics of my stage III LS6 heads and flow sheets, along with a communication that MY CAR WILL BE DONE SOON!!!
Enjoy that new MONSTER OF YOURS and be safe man!

Onyx,
That is a badass setup. I love the front 3/4 view from the ground (pic 1).
What valvecovers are those that you're using?

Any chance of someone from MTI or Tony posting a dyno comparison of that cam vs the standard S1?

I don't think I could've asked for a better birthday present! It was perfect that they finished right on time.
Tony, thanks for your input on the cam selection a while back.
Jason, the TNT kit is gonna sit in the garage for a while. I'm gonna need to take advantage on this beast's warranty.
Fulton, they are ARE valvecovers. They took a lot of work to get on there, not even including relocating the coil packs. They do look good though.
Fenris, I don't know how good of a comparison we could get between the two cams on different cars. These are just preliminary numbers also.
SSCamaro99_3, the shoulder belts are u-bolted to the roll bar with an exhaust clamp.

That is a very sweet setup you have there. Is all that power and torque usuable on the street? I mean can you street race on nittos without getting out of control?
My birthday is coming up also, a big cube motor sure would be nice.

NO WAY are nitto drags going to hook up all that power on the street with ***** to wall street racing. Heck, would be lucky whether et streets will even get the job done without major burnout to warm up those bad boys.
I am going to be having this same dilema in a couple of weeks when i get my c5 back with new MTI ironblock 427 and i will be running et streets on the street and may have to graduate to full out HOOSIER SLICKS for the streets b/c 500rwhp and torque is some serious *** power!

i think you can keep the power on the ground, i have 315 nitto's that are easy to spin with this motor but with a good burnout and feathering the throttle you can make a solid run. still it's an art to keep traction
it would be fun to drive on my et drags one night!
