MTI 427 dyno results... UPDATED
it would be fun to drive on my et drags one night!

I drove around for a few days on a pair of 26x11.5x16 ET Streets. You don't realize how much you are actually spinning on DRs. The car would dead hook from a 1st gear roll and just bark the tires in 2nd, instead of blowing them away. This made the car feel 10x faster. This is when you need to take people for rides in your car. lol
My clutch did not like me after those few days though. lol

Wow Justin, I need to read the board more often. I still remember meeting you at HRP back when you were just bolt-ons and running strong. Good Luck with the new setup!
Teddy, hah it's been a while. That was back when I was running high 11s with bolt ons. I see you added a Z06 to your garage.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Sorry Onyx, couldn't resist.
When are you going to the track with this setup? Tens on the first trip!
UPDATE:
It looked like the Stealth Airbox wasn't fitting up well and we thought that maybe the traditional MTI lid would flow a little better.
We baselined the car at 498 rwhp 481 rwtq. I had just driven in from Austin so the car was a little heat soaked.
I pulled off the Stealth box and replaced it with a stock lower airbox and a MTI lid and we dynoed again. It gained 11 rwhp & 13 rwtq!! That put it at 509 rwhp & 494 rwtq.
I'm gonna try to make it to the track tomorrow.

You will pick up some more just from breaking the motor in too, not bad for a motor with a warranty

UPDATE (2/22):

Nice numbers too, I bet your car is sooooo much fun to drive on the street.
I ran a few low 11s. The best was 11.08 @ 127 but I spun off the line and was making [i]slow[/] shifts (bad synchros). Once I get used to the new set up and I get some bigger slicks 10s will be easy.
HRP was PACKED, I was there for 4 hours and made 3 passes.
