MTI 427 dyno results... UPDATED
So we put it on the rollers to make 500 rwhp on the first pull with no break in! The best pull was 502 rwhp and another made 505 rwtq. The specs and graphs are in my sig. There should be a little more power with some break in and a few other things may need to be changed that may be restricting flow.
Also that is through a Cartek clutch, Denny's driveshaft, 12 bolt (4.10), and 17x11 wheels.
The power is eveywhere, right at 500 from 5500-6500 & torque is above 400 from 2600-6500. The only problem was that it was making a loud squealing noise when we got it started up Friday night. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> Mike pulled the tranny and the clutch to find the seal on the back of the crank was melted and everything was perfect after he replaced it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
This thing is sick on the street!
Now I need to get this beast to the track! <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />
Thanks again to everyone at MTI. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
UPDATE (2/22):
It looked like the Stealth Airbox wasn't fitting up well and we thought that maybe the traditional MTI lid would flow a little better.
We baselined the car at 498 rwhp 481 rwtq. I had just driven in from Austin so the car was a little heat soaked.
I pulled off the Stealth box and replaced it with a stock lower airbox and a MTI lid and we dynoed again. It gained 11 rwhp & 13 rwtq!! That put it at 509 rwhp & 494 rwtq.
I'm gonna try to make it to the track tomorrow.

I am going thru my A4 so rear wheel hp numbers will not hit 500 but the torque should be out of control with 4.125 crank. Did you use the S1 cam i assume on a 112 lsa?

You will enjoy dumping the clutch at a much lower rpm. It only takes 4500-5000 rpm to cut 1.4s with a big motor.
