stroker question and Lunati 395" advice
Getting ready for a rebuild. Anyone run the Lunati 395" stroker kit? Why wouldnt you choose that over the 382 for the same money?
Or is it far cheaper now to piece things together? What do you guys recommend? I dont want to resleeve. thanks

...i've asked a few times about this combination and the concensous seems to be that this is not a great idea....
...apparently, with the 4.125 stroke you tend to run high risk of blow-by since the pin is very high in the piston....
...also most are not fond of undersquare engines....they take longer to rev and don't rev as high but they do make a bunch of power down low...

thanks.
More Performance says exceeding the 4.0 inch stroke is not recommended for the stock bore. They have been the most responsive vendor so far.
