Default Approx cost of minor head work?

I have a set of 6.0 heads that I want to put on my Camaro in the spring. I want to clean the heads up myself, buy new valves, springs, & retainers. I was looking to have them install a 1.60 exhaust valve (& 2.08 intake if not too spendy) instead of the stock 1.55.

So to have them disassemble the heads, install new bigger valves, valve job, and reassemble what do you think I'm looking at for labor cost? There might be other things involved that I do not know about but thats why I'm askin.

What is the biggest intake valve I could have them install on these heads for use on a stock bore LS1? 2.08 or 2.02?

Thanks, Justin

Theres a local place by detroit (where im from) in a city called clinton township that does great work. Rhino Performance, and theyre cheap too. i called and hes talking about hand porting the intake, all port matched(he needs the intake manifold, heads, and gaskets for machining), and ported and polished on the exhaust side. i was quoted at 870 for the set of heads, thats port matched, intake and exhaust, 2.02 and 1.60 one piece stainless valves(forget the brand, but theyre better than ferrea), thats with a 5 angle valve job and everything assembled. I already have my vlave springs and all i would need is new valve seals (Cheap). this is the way im going. 1000 bucks for a set of stage 2 heads thatll flow some good numbers. he does a lot of work on ls1 heads too, and knows what hes talkin about. I personally wouldnt go with 2.08 on the intake side though...theyre too big and will get shrouded by the cylinder walls. better off with 2.02 or maybe 2.055 if you wanted, any bigger will hurt your flow digits.

You'd have to cut out and reinstall new valve seats for 2.08's. 2.05 will be good if your running a big cam, if not, go 2.02.

Anybody know how much it costs to have 2.02 and 1.60 valves installed? Not including the price of the valves.
