yes, not much. go with a lingenfelter gt2-3 instead 207/220 .571/.578 118.5. Works with ls6 springs too

Yes it's possible, and on average people see about 20-25 RWHP. You can probably find a good used one for about $150.00. The one from the 02+ years is the better cam.

It will work but you have to upgrade to at least LS6 springs.

Here is a good thread with a few people who have seen good numbers from this cam and boltons. These are definitely on the high end for dyno numbers but shows what is possible.

I wouldn't expect more than 15-20 RWHP. You can find them used for under $100. I just sold mine for $75 a few weeks back.

I speak from experience! DO NOT USE LS6 SPRINGS, use PAC1218'S....Dont mean to yell at you but I did the LS6 cam and spring swap and you see some top end power gain from it but there isnt a whole lot. I would use good valve springs with the LS6 cam so when you are bored with the cam and decide to go bigger you wont have to upgrade springs again like I did. Just my .02, but to answer your ? click here http://lmgtfy.com/?q=ls6+cam+in+ls1

If you are putting forth the effort, you might as well go for a real cam. Be it off the shelf or custom specced, it isn't too much more.

I would agree 100% Why spend all that time and put a baby cam in there. There are nice cams that wont take away from DD and have alot more power.

I wouldn't include his into the norm. That motor was rebuilt and probably at much better specs than GM.

^I agree because i have been researching this cam swap, and he is the only one to dyno that high! Everyone else is in the 350-365whp range, depending on bolt-ons.

Most do seem to dyno in the 360 range. There are a few others in the last two pages of the thread who are in the 400HP/TQ range with LS6cam/heads and bolt-ons.
