Well I am looking around and found a lq9 whats the difference other then the dished pistons??
I'm thinking about just keeping the car in the driveway till I have the time and money to come out with my boosted car. I'm only looking to make 500 orso to the wheels through my stalled auto is it doable?

yes, very doable. we pushed a stock 5.3 farther than that.
yeah, your right. i think everyone should add 100lb to the nose of there car. it makes that extra power so much better

IMO any v8 can handle a 150 shot. im sure someone will say oh no, i know so and so who did this and killed his engine. bla bla bla. but yes it will handle it. i hit mine with 175 often. you will put your complete accessory drive over on the truck engine. the water pump is the big differance for needing to do this. just use your crank pulley and everything off the front of your engine, swap it over and good to go.
I wont shoot more than a 75 on my stock fuel pump so im going to a 255 and will be good for a 150-175
