Tsunami cam?
what do you think of this cam? my friend got M6 2001 Z28 that has LS6 stage 2 Patriot heads,full bolt ons and I mean everything even the oil pump is LS6 ported every bolt on you can think of,stock LS6 intake,Torquer 2 cam and stock 3.42 gears the car had 427rwhp/400rwtf and the clutch was burned so now it has Monster stage 3 package and we are thinking of changing the cam to Tsunami cam for those who dont know the numbers here they are 235/240, .654"/.609", 111 LSA we are concerned about valve to piston clearance the short block is stock nothing changed so will we have valve to piston clearance with that much lift? the heads were never milled and I think the springs can handle .650" lift can they handle the .654" ?

I wouldn't make that change with those heads. You don't know that you'll have proper valve drop to maintain piston to valve clearance. You could check it prior to ordering a camshaft, but I'm just not sure you'll have clearance. Do you know the valve size? I can help you take some measurements of the head to get a idea how much valve drop they have left, but it's ALWAYS best to check it just to be safe!
We might be better off thinking about a little bit smaller camshaft if we're not sure.

I say you alread have a good cam in the Torquer V2 the Tsunami specs on lift and lsa aren't much different with only a little bump in duration. I'd say that to meet any bigger goals with a bigger cam you'll need to flycut and get a custom cam ground and not choose an off the shelf grind.
