You left the first part of the quote out...
To be fair, the lbs/hp is damn near identical, both around 9lbs per HP
My guess is your comment is based on the times you are running, looking at your signature:
02 SS M6 - Stock Internal - Built & Tuned by Me
11.51 @ 119.5, 1.64 60'
So your 11.51 @ 119.5 in a car prepped for the stock internal record is an exceptional example, and not really an apples to apples comparison to a C5 Z06, even if the weight is closer.
Of course, i could be way off base, just wondering why the

My comment wasn't based off my car. As you said, that's an unfair comparison. My car at stock weight would still own a C5Z and I'm only making 360 to the wheels. Even that would be a bad example though, my comment was based off the fact that a full bolt-on f-body can compete with a C5Z and they don't have anywhere near 400rwhp

i have my car's stock dyno sheet from 2002 and it was 327wheelhp on a DynoJet. its a
that was a02 Camaro SS with less than 1000miles.
soooooooo...if it now has a LID, 90mm TB, SLP MAF, Long Tube headers, NO cats and a comp tune, GMMG muffler plus some other do-dads...umm i still think its not even gonna come close to 400wheelhp.
with what that car WAS then and IS now i think i'm still only at 360-370 at the wheels maybe...
