You really need to take a better picture. Like from above showing the harness and engine then we should be able to tell you.

Thats for the AIR system, it plugs into a small black thing that's clipped to the fuel rail I think it has two small vacume lines coming off of it.

That used to go to your AIR injection solenoid, I don't see the lines or solenoid, so you must have deleted the AIR system.

thats what i thought it was too!!!!! but we tried starting it and the car would either die idle rough like 500rpms for a minute then die. how bad can installing an intake manifold through off your tune? i dont think its a vacumm leak i was told they make your car idle like 2k plus.. if it makes it any better the wire is on the left side of the intake by the break booster on the middle of the wire harness, we tried using my buddys 2000ss he had a place to clip his in but doesnt run egr or air?

I might go to the evap soleniod, it's a black plastic soleniod with 2 hoses going to it. One from the intake behind the throttle body and one goes to the gas tank.

That plug won't have anything to do with your car running like ****. Double check all your other plugs and harnesses, anything you took apart while doing the swap.

how do i know the intake is on all the way, i mean its on but when we went to put it on when the bolts where on and not snug the intake had alittle bit of play but when we tighten them down it the intake became flush with the heads. is it a vacuum? i guess when my buddy started the car he had to keep it gased for it to turn on then he said he disconnect the tps sensor and the car turned on but it didnt idle right it always stayed below 2000 rpms

If you're not sure if it seated properly the best thing to do is pull it off and put it back slowly and carefully. But I would think if it was a leak that it would rev or have an unsteady idle rather than low. Make sure all your injectors are seated properly and harnesses are connected. Also make sure your map sensor is in and sealed, make sure the big hose in the back isn't pinched or in a bind.

last question, hahah how bad would the tune through it off the car was previously tuned for my set up with my stock ls1 manifold, now that i have the bbk could that cause it to not want to start without me feathering it, when i started it today i feathered it for about a minute then it held its own idling at about 500rpm then i gased it and it dropped to 200rpms jumped to 400rmps and then died, could it be the tune?

The tune's not your problem either. It may be off just a hair but nothing you would ever notice unless you hooked up to a wb, and maybe not even then.

is it possible that you hooked ur coil harnesses up backwards? I hooked my driver side coil pack harnesses up backwards and my car barely fired up and ran like dog **** and spit and popped....so i immediatly knew it had to be the coil harness by process of elimination....an intake swap doesnt really have to much depth to it that would cause ur car to run like you are saying, either you fucked up your map sensor during the swap or ur injectors, or ur coils I would assume...good luck

Any change in the engine will cause it to not idle. Its no big deal, let the computer figure it back out and you should be good.

You said the bbk intake had a little play before you tightened it down? These intakes come with a single buttonhead bolt for the valley cover because they hit on the passenger rear side. If you did not replace this bolt you may be sucking air in on your passenger rear side runner... Just food for thought.

check map sensor, although i agree the button head valley cover bolts not being installed would be a problem but it would idle way high and the idle would hang a little after reving it up!
