Default Baby cam on stock converter

How bad will a small cam like the hot cam be on a stock converter in 98 TA. I might put one in later but only after the tranny gets rebuilt. With a good tune will it be pretty driveable? the car is my DD and has lots of miles on it, round trips to college every day so i don't want a big cam, any way thanks guys.

On a college budget...your stock converter should work OK with the Hot Cam.

That cam is easy on springs too...don't forget though you need LS6 springs for that lift...should be nice for what you want...

A small cam will be just fine on a stock converter. Low to mid range tourque and HP is what they are designed to make therfore a stock converter fits the bill. Obviously like already said a converter will help as it will with a stock car but you will not have any ill effects.
