Angry My LS7 Lifters Don't Fit. W.T.F. ?

I finished flycutting my pistons tonight, and I went to put in my LS7 lifters, and only about half of them fit in the lifter bores. The lifters were too big in diameter. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I bought them from a sponsor, but I'm not gonna say who until I talk to them tomorrow.

1- see if they are all same diameter.
2- compare to OEM lifters you took out.
3- get a bore mic and measure your block. (the issue could be your block)

They are apparently not all the same diameter, because some would fit easily into holes that others would not. I was skeptic, thinking something might be in the holes, but my OEM lifters fit perfectly with no persuasion whatsoever. I'm going to give said sponsor a call when I get a chance and pick their brain a little bit.

possibly. I'll have to look and take some pics. i'll get back with you on that when i have time to look at them. They did have some nicks / scratches, but nothing that looked like it would hinder insertion.

those nicks and scratched can be all it takes some times. The edge of the scratch is probably raised up

So should I take some 1000 grit and and smooth them out, then go on with 1500 and 2000, or what do you suggest?

I talked to the sponsor this morning, and they want to just send me another set. I'm all for it. That's just downright good customer service.
