What i want-Nice size cam/big cam that puts out alot of power and wont be so stressful on the engine.in other words a safe big cam.I want a cam ONLY car so I plan on running stock heads(dont have the funds for heads right now) Maybe nitrous later down the road.

POLUTR Tick Performance Polluter Cam (24x/24x (.61x"/.61x") 112LSA)
http://www.cincyperformancestore.com...polutrcam.html

4.thunder racing Raptor cam
Raptor cam- 236/242 - .615/.615 - 111 lsa
works good w/ nitrous
http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...&vid=3&pcid=51

5.T rex cam

tsunami's make big power! there were a couple close in the 460s/70s range heads cam. never saw any updates if they ever did an intake. I voted polluter though, thing makes crazy torque.

My vote was for the polluter cam, im in the same boat as u are right now, but im only debating between 2 cams right now. The Polluter cam and the Vindicator by vengeance. I just wish i could find some track times on that Polluter cam. Only 1 i found was a mid 13 sec. pass on street tires. Good luck on ur choice buddy.

just because a cam's specs are huge doesnt mean it will make huge power. those cams love to breathe through great heads and a FAST intake. this leads me to my point, go custom grind, you will end up getting what you want and you dont need the biggest cam possible. however, if you dont go custom grind (which does not cost any extra money) id choose the trex.

I agree with the bigger cams needing heads and a FAST to breathe. And a higher redline.

Is it just me or do those numbers seem a little high for a bolt on m6? Arent they usually around 340 to the wheels. I thought most cam only ls1's were around 380-400rwhp?

I voted Trex, The cam just pulls and pulls. Great for a cam only build and loves nitrous also. Always depending on what you want to do with the car, I def do not drive my car everyday. You should pm Patrick G and ask him for some input

Im sorry, does your post so you want a BIG CAM and then something thats NOT STRESSFUL ON THE ENGINE? LOL

First of all, put the pipe down. Almost every cam you listed will want to pull to 7 grand (or higher) and thats just awesome for the stock rod bolts.

Get an idea on what you want to make power wise (and not A LOT) and go from there.

I voted seek expert advice but have you took a look at the streetsweeper cams? They may be a tad smaller but people swear by them that run them.

I get that all the time.lol! We did 3 pulls
1st pull 371rwhp
2nd pull 372
3rd 370 rwhp.We had other cars with the same mods that pulled 350ish. dont know why it pulled what it pulled, but it did. I know Gil pulled the same numbers i did with the same Mods in 3 different Dyno's. Plus Ask around, the car defenatly runs like its making 370ish.I've pulled cars with h/c. cars making 370-390ish rwhp.I have vids to back it up.not bragging just adding that the car seems to pull very strong for what it has.factory freak? maybe... thanks for the advise guys!

ps. the only did i changed was the streight pipe exhaust for my old corsa. We dynoed it with the new exhaust and I did drop 10hp,but gained 5 tq after that...lol!
