Day 1 of 224/228 cam, 96mm TB, heads, 92mm FAST swap

You can take this for what it's worth. But if the longer pushrods doesn't quite it down then try a shorter pushrod. Long story in a short verison. At my H/C/I swap. My tuner put in 7.4 and it was pretty noticeable hearing it, he said if it don't get any quieter after I put some miles on it bring it back. When I took it back he put in some 7.35 and it quieted it down a bit. These are just noisy motors from what I read. The way I look at it for the power they put out, the hell with the sewing machine sound. When your wide open all you hear is exhaust. But every car is different and so is the setup.

Did you ever take the breather off? You could be missing some power there. I had a hole in my pcv system which is similar to having a breather. Once I got new pcv lines and ran them, my idle became rock solid, and the car ran better at part throttle. I didn't do back to back dynos but I've heard plenty of people say your losing power if your pcv isn't sealed properly

Maybe the lift is killing me. Just figured this combo change would have netted 11.20@121. I was thinking .5/6 MPH gain but I got .4/4 MPH gain. Hoping to fit the Raptor but 10's may just not be possible at this weight NA

Nope... got a Honda for that and a bike. But when it is nice out I do drive it often and every so often 100 plus mile trips.
It's pretty docile and works. Just I know I am down on lift so the cam is a tweak that may net me some. Only motor **** I have really.
I may spray it at some point next year after I do a fuel pump. I'm thinking 150 shot.

Pardon me for being the idiot of the group, but the part about using stock rockers is interesting to me. Does that make a difference if its an A4 or an M6? Just looking for answers because I'm doing this mod myself in about a month.

It doesn't matter A4 or M6. What mod are you doing? You can use whatever ratio you want if you put the right spring. In my case I would have needed an even more aggressive spring to handle the weight if I had kept the 1.85's.
