Wiring up a FAST is NOT that hard.Tuning correctly is alittle tricky but again not too bad......
But for GODS sakes,Give MTI/Steve a chance to get it all sorted out.I know its gonna be badass once its all completed..

I have a query
was there techical limitations with the delphi pcm and or tuning tools to change to the FAST ecu or is it all out shoot the cat config

I think it was the 8000rpm limit in the PCM. The airflow limit could probably be sorted out as Harlan is running a stock PCM making 700+ rwhp on a Mustang dyno.
That's just a guess though.
John
That and we wanted every last HP possible. It would be blasphamy to build an engine of this caliber and NOT run DFI.
tell those *****-*****'s to hurry up. (no offense to those *****-*****'s...i know they work hard fo the money).
any way. hurry up and good luck
how long till the efi is set up? or is it already sorry but theres 7 pages of reading still going threw it.

The engine was up and running at Halloween. Now we're solving the oiling problem which required alot of custom made parts. That stuff takes awhile to get made. Mostly we've just been waiting on parts. I talked to Jayson today and all of the parts are in. It's just a matter of assembly now. Looks like I'll have it back the 1st half of January.
