Default Cam Bearing Questions

i bought cam bearings for the 6L motor that i'm building and when i got the bearings they had a couple rough spots around the edges, like burrs or something around the outside edges. the surface in the middle of the bearings was smooth, should i be worried about those burrs?

also, out of the old motor the cam bearings were worn on the 2 outside bearings, they just felt gritty. the cam journals still feel smooth and look alright, is it ok to reuse the cam in something else?

thanks for the input!

i ended up sending the cam bearings back. when i looked at it alittle closer it looked like those rough spots would affect the camshaft.

is the old camshaft useable even though its bearings were worn out?

Sure, if the cam is slick, it should be fine....
