alright i got a few questions and need some advice, after using the sites awsome search bar tht never lets me down i came up with nothing. so heres my question

i got a stock ls1 block that i am rebuilding, its stock bore and will b honed, if someone could inform me what head gasket to use that would be great. the motor will be around 11:1, and will get driven everyday and will prolly get the **** beat out of it everyday. i basically want the best bang for the buck. part numbers would be great too!

+1 for GM MLS. Im running GM MLS on cut 243 heads to about 61cc. running about 11.1 no issues, but if you do want thinner then I agree get Cometic then.

We typically hit the Cometics with some copper gasket spray on motors that have been run before to help them seal. We haven't had an issue with gaskets leaking when doing this.

My calculator shows your static compression at 11.24:1.
