Default Anyone at 11.5:1 + compression in their DD successfully?

I'm building a 383 Iron Block Stroker for my 2006 RCSB 4x4 Truck that should produce over 525hp FWHP with a comp XER281 232-234 .600 112 lsa cam, 300+cfm dart 205cc heads,3200 SCY, I will be using coated chambers/valves/Pistons to help and in the future a meth kit, Is anyone on here running higher than this with a similer setup successfully? my local fuel is 91-92

i have an L92. i have had my l92 heads shaved .040 which im guessing is around that compression ratio (11.5:1) , and i have ran 91 and have not had any pinging or knock, in the summer or cold

Interesting setup. I just got off the engine dyno today with a similar motor but a 6.0L SBC. Anyways I'm running 11.1:1 compression and that is about it with 91 octane. Maybe with an LSx you can go higher. I have a cast iron block. Anyways I have AFR 195 Comp heads that flow 300+cfm, 233/233 cam with .595"/.595" lift and easily got 525hp at the crank. With Mobile One and letting the intake manifold cool off while keeping the oil warm we got 535hp out of it. So you should easily make your mark.

My DD 347 is 11.5 SCR and I have a smaller cam which puts the DCR where many would say I couldn't run pump gas. But I do and it runs fine. Timing is conservative in certain areas, but I'm still 26deg at wot. My KLF stays .99-1.00 all the time

I have a huge cam I'll throw in eventually, but its fun as is and snappy as hell for a small motor.

It's much more about the whole package rather than just one factor like compression ratio.

deff easy to get 525.. my truck on a slipping transmission and heavy 22's in 100* weather made 460rwhp and 435 rwtq on a conservative tune

using a conservative 15% drivetrain loss it should make 530 at the crank!

in the hot summer the truck seemed to only want 25* of timing

its honestly more about the DCR then it is the SCR. Dont take the DCR higher then 8.5, UNLESS you have a great tuner and 93 octane available. Then dont run over 9.0. On my last setup, I ran 8.9DCR and 11.6 SCR with no issues on 93 octane. On 91 it would occasionally knock a little.

Correct, I was just struck by how identical our builds are except for the generation thing. So if I can reach those numbers you should have no problems. By the way I'm running 8.5 DCR on 91 octane with no detonation.
