Ls1 block crank with Ls2 rods and pistons
Ok gen. III gurus I have an ls1 block and crank and need to pick up some rods and pistons but im doing a build on the cheap so i came across a set of ls2 pistons and rods is this a possible combo http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...dthethread.gif

Hey thanks guys im building a an ls1 for my nova and just wanna use stock parts for now and get it all in the car and going and then maybe after the car is all said and done i'll build a monster but my car is being fully restored so a well built motor is not up my alley this year

why not go with Callies C-Series I beam rods? 6.125, bushed small end, ARP rod bolts, $355 shipped
get some mahle pistons, this way you have forged rods/pistons with valve reliefs for big cam and/or milled heads, increased rod ratio, lighter pistons.

Well i guess if you will loan me the money i could go with all forged internals you can put me on the pay as you can plan lol but on a serious note i just dont have the cash for that as of right now my nova needs other things and im just focusing on making it a nice driver with some cool factors but your input is appreciated
