i havent yet found anyone who will ship a set of rockers already converted so will buy a kit and have a go.
Thunder Racing shipped one to me here in the UK.

If you are having issues to get it ship here, I can hook you up.

Do you mean run times? IE: Straight 1/4 track? Well my car ran its best 12.2 @ 110, bolt ons, stock suspension and when it was stalled automatic. Now it is set up do take the corners and more power from the heads and cam I just did recently. Just gotta get it tuned, found a tuner w/ a dyno at Bedford.

I'm at Lakenheath/Brandon, Suffolk.

Trust me do it now! I did exactly what you are planning on doing. Got my HCI installed, dyno tuned, a few passes on the track and mostly just normal driving and cruising and I changed my oil last night for the normal 3k mile oil change and guess what i found stuck to my drain plug? Roller Bearings from my stock rockers. So now I have to tear back into the valve covers, pull the rockers, and get them rebuilt.

Save yourself the trouble and buy them now. I just ordered the kit today from byunspeed.com for $128 shipped.

I wish i would have known this before I ordered mine. I ordered them and they emailed back and said Comp has them on back order for 2-3weeks. So I called every place looking for a kit in stock and finally found one. If I hadnt gone thru so much trouble to find a set I would have ordered from you haha

Being how light the factory rockers are, just about any aftermarket rocker will end up weighing more. That's a big advantage with the factory part. Even without the roller tips, they will still work better in a lot of applications.

I agree, but roller tips are not an advantage as they dont even roll. They simply add weight in a terrible place!

Roller tips will take the stress off the side load on the valve guides. This comes into play when you get well over .600 lift. If you look closely at the tip of where the rocker pushes on the valve stim, it starts on the inside and slides to the outside as it opens the valve.

Carshop, are these GM rockers? Forgive my ignorance...did GM update them, or are these like off an LS3 or something?

Thanks

LS3 rockers are offset so you can't use them on LS1 heads.

yes, these rockers were updated after 2002 model year for ls1/6. they didnt get the tunnion bearings but they did get the larger needles like shown which are less prone to explode inside the valve covers. the larger needles can take more stress obviously. buuuutttt the trunnion upgrade is an excellent upgrade over anything. less friction=more hp and less weight=more hp. the stock rockers are lighter then just about any aftermarket rockers and alot more sturdier. they also produce the proper valvetrain alignment which=hp. without proper valvetrain alignment=failure. with adjustable rockers you literally have to adjust the rockers so that they work right. with stockers all you have to do is bolt and go. also with the trunnion upgarde, you can spin those things as high as you want them to go without any problems. im running .660" lift springs and .595" lift cam
