Stock rockers are not designed to mate with high lift cams. Their short comings are in their design, specifically where it contacts the valve tip. Running large lift cams can cause worn valve tips. That being said, I'm still running stock rockers

BTW... those exact rockers in the video above ^ are for sale. I've never installed them, but I'm going with something else for my build now. PM me for details.

COMP finally released an official installation video. Much easier when you have the proper tools:

Does anyone provide this service? My rockers are brand new, and do not want to exchange them in.

It's actually very easy to do. I've done several sets now and can do all 16 rockers in about 15-20 minutes. That's pressing the old ones out and pressing the new ones back in.

This. I think Sommer86 may even still have the brand new set I used in my video up for sale.

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have a complete set of upgraded rockers laying around? i could trade my factory set + $$$

mine are 02 w/50k on them.

im just getting ready to install a ms3 cam and prc 5.3/2.5 heads and think this would be a good idea.

Reckhart does the serivce on an exchange basis for like $200. So does Brian Tooley and Ai. All for about $200 - $140 for the parts and $60 for labor.

Just for anyone who doesn't want to spend $60+ for a press if you're only going to do this once.
