Biggest cam with stock heads?
I have been looking for the biggest cam that I can use with stock heads. My car is not my daily driver. My goal is to be over 400rwhp with bolt ons and a cam. This with be going through 3.73 gears.I have been looking at the c1,c2, and x1 cams. You know of any better one's that will get me the performace I want? I don't want anymore than 112LSA. All help is appreciated.

X1 - MTI
F1 - Speedtek
TR230 - Thunder racing
Thunder and MTI are sponsors....just look to the right. Speedtek is a sponsor on that "other" board

Re: Biggest cam with stock heads?
I'm a big C1 Hammer cam (112) fan myself. Reasons are:
Good power with Stock heads
Great power with Stage 2 heads
Never have to turn the stock 346 bottom end over 6500 rpm to achieve that power.
Very streetable , but gives that muscle car thump.
Pushed my daily driver into the 10s N/A.
Thanks John Campbell.
That's my .02

Hey offtopic but...
check out forum.easternfbody.com Theres a lot of local guy on there that can give you a good idea of some different cams.
Ask Al Corda what the biggest cam you can run in stock heads is

The inspector may still raise an eyebrow or two if you come in lopeing like crazy trying to tell him it's all stock. And if they use the tail pipe sniffer you're had.

Re: Biggest cam with stock heads?
If you want some low end torque i'd recommend the LG G5X1. Other cams might make more PEAK power, but area the area under the curve of the G5X1 is superb.
