good job on the install, the engine does seem a bit noisy but i guess thats just from the video? what oil pump did you go with? and are those alcoa z06 wheels or speedlines? did you get brand new rocker arms or u just cleaned em?

Looks and sounds great! Great pics of the install. Keep us posted on the dyno results after the headers are on...

Thanks,

autos aren't dyno queens, remember this. Judge an auto by how it runs at the track and how it feels. They will never produce the numbers M6s will.

yeah just the vid, it needs to get tuned and i think my idler pulley is finally going out on me . . . sounds like i have a supercharger now lol. i went with the Melling M295 pump, my stock one didn't look to bad on the outside but i definitely wasn't going to take a chance with it ya know. i wanted alcoa's so badly but they are actually oe wheels speedlines, clean rims and i love em on the car!! too bad the tires alone were almost $1200, but thats what i get for having vette rims lol. i bought Thunder Racing's cam package and had the parts installed on the 241 heads when the heads were disassembled and cleaned up.

yeah i know stupid auto's lol i'm tryin to decide between a 3000 or a 3500 stall, the gears i'll have are 3.42's since i still love driving my car on road trips and such. i really don't want to get too big of a stall cause i don't want it to be a pain in the *** to drive and get annoyed ya know

How did your cam bearings look with that much mileage, just put some ported 241's on my engine while its out and thinking of a cam swap. I have 139,000 on mine just not sure of the mileage on the cam bearings . Also what lifters did you run with this cam swap

they looked alittle worn but not bad at all. i bought the car at 55K and i've put 120K on the car since i bought it and 90% of those miles were freeway cruising miles and the rest even in town were hella easy on the car, drove nice and slow gettin up to the speed limit and then set cruise control, cylinder walls still had crosshatching from the factory which surprised us. anyway i'm running LS7 Lifters and LS2 Lifter Trays. i've gotta say even my stock lifters looked in great shape lol

for your h/c swap, no need to break in.. I just drove mine around town (normail driving) and had a couple of heat cycles you should be good. What i did was couple heat cycles during the day, cool down over night, did the same the next day, cool down over night again. Now i got 300-500 more miles of regular driving till this LS7 settles in

and yeh, time to time i do come around alameda. see you around!

yea man good ****, the car is running great, and yea those z06 wheels look badass on your car dude. i just bought some 01 alcoa z06 wheels myself and i cant wait to put them on my car. hope to sell me 10 spokes soon. you should be good with some 30lb ford red top injectors if you need any. they run about 35lb on ls1 fuel pressure, i got mine for $60 and spend $18 on a rebuild kit and did it myself, after i was done im running 80% duty cycle at WOT those injectors came stock on ford t bird v6 supercharged motor

wish i had real alcoa's but the price of tires for these rims sucks ***! i do recommend the bridgestone potenza's, $1200 for the set but they are definitely worth it! i have some 36lb injectors in my garage waitin to go in
