Default Need Help!

Guys,
My trans am is throwning me some issues after going to the drag strip tonight.

For about a week now, I've been having strange readings on my fuel guage. 1 minute everything is normal, the next minute I'm on E, and back and forth.

On the way home, I noticed my temp guage was getting close to red. I went to a friend's house, and turn off the car, and my fan is still running!??? WTF
After the fan turns off, we could here the coolant boiling in the raidiator... I turn her back on after about 20mins, and she ran fine. I took here down the road to open her up, and I do. She ran great. Next thing I know, my Temp guage is back up while I'm sitting at an intersection and WHITE smoke pouring out the back. I mean white smoke everywhere! People where laughing at me lol. I took off slowly from the light, and as I started goin' and goin' the smoke stopped again. I pulled over again, smoke everywhere as soon as I stopped, and the Temp was off the guage.

What the hell is wrong with my car?
Seal from driving it too hard? Coolant? Fuel?
All of the above?

Please help me...

From the limited information, it sounds like you have a head gasket issue.

X2, I cant think of any thing else. Have you checked the basic parts in the cooling system? How did they look? If they all check out fine from what you can tell, then check head gaskets.

You blew a headgasket. White smoke = coolant steam, blue smoke = burning oil, black smoke = unburned fuel (pig rich).

It doesn't matter how new the parts are. Many things can affect head gasket seal and it's not uncommon to have these issues. Keep driving it like it is and you'll be replacing everything around the crank.

You definitely blew a head gasket. The fans will stay on w/ the ignition off if the car is over a certain temperature, so that's normal. The fuel gauge is an unrelated issue and sounds like a bad sending unit. What kind of head gaskets are you running?

What about a water pump? Thermostat stick? Coolant?
Why could it not be one of those problems?

all of those are contained in the cooling system. If one was broke or malfunctioning it would not make it to the exhaust system. If something went wrong in the cooling system and then overheated then your head gaskets went.
