If you have a spare set of heads I would send them out to have them ported. TEA will run their CNC program on a head for $500. That doesn't include milling, parts, or assembling them. If you can spend $50 to have them milled, and assemble them yourself you should see some really good gains.

im changing to rebuilt 241's from 853's but for these reasons:
1) theyre off the car so i can have them all redone while im still driving it.(basically no port work, just valve job, springs and cleaned up)
2) theyre ready to go when i finish my bottom end rebuild. i can just slap them on and away i go.
3) im running an ASA cam so dont think a lil cam like that will leave a ton on the table with basically stock heads
4) i hate the perimeter bolt style valve covers.
5) did i mention i hate perimeter bolt valve covers. just an OCD thing for me.

Thanks for the info guys. I was gonna buy another bike this year....but I think I might just buy parts
lol. Already bought an LS6 intake and considering either the PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 heads or the PRC Stage 1 LS6 heads (milled). Flow seems about the same as well as price.
