Default victor jr 346?

im getting ready to install a victor jr and accufab throttle body on my car just wondering if my cam will work with these type of runners.. the cam in it is a t-rex and the doctor sheet shows it a 244/250 on a 109 lsa.

244/250? Good god thats a huge cam for that little 346. My little 370 only has a 238/246

Are you sure it's a Trex cam? I thought they were a 23x/24x? I'd look for something like a 23x/23x .60x/.61x on about a 109 or 110lsa.

yeah thats advertised spec the cam has a doctor sheet

443/405 torque cam only with a fast intake only been to the track once on stock suspension 11.6 @124

For an all out track car, the single plane intake will work alot better over the F.A.S.T. Its runners are short and large open plenum works in the power band of that cams advertised duration. Meaning better matched.

That was my guess and honestly its my daily driver but all I care about is track performance, and im also changing the gears to a 4:56

It can be still driven on the street. just the low end will feel non existant. 4:56s huh? running a 28" tall tire or 1/8 mile? Thats alot cam/gears and intake for a D/D.

I have 4:30's right now with a 27 mt dr my 4th gear is about 135 and yeah I plan on running a 28 tall tire if I do need it with the 4:56, im use to a 5 speed mustang with a tiny tire and 4:10, way worse then my setup now so i'll be fine

i got that intake on my stock engine.i lost no low end what so ever.pulls from 1000 rpm in 6 th at 40 mph and has no problem doing it with 3.73 in my swapped mustang.
