Default Which cam will lope more....

A 226/232 on a 110 lsa or the G5X-2 cam on a 112. Also with stock un-cut heads, what is the biggest cam you can run without ptv clearance problems with a 110 lsa. I want this car to cam so hard it feels like it going to shake apart. Car has a lid, headers, and a 4.10 rear. I also have ls1 edit. Any advice?

The G5X-2 will make more power. If you want more lope just lower the idle speed.

I know that the G5X-2 will make more power. If both were set at the same idle, which would have more lope to it.

I would say the 226/232 cam will lope a little harder. The G5X2 has 2 degrees more with the split in duration, but with the 112 to 110 lsa the 110 should lope more being that the split in duration is almost equal between the two. The G5X2 still hits a nice lick though.

I'm running a 226/230 110 and I needed to flycut .050. It lopes pretty nicely with an idle of around 1000 rpm.
