Default Miles per gallon

MY car seems to be running a little bit rich. I don't have cats and I don't have the O2 simulators. It didn't seem to run rich until the cold weather set in. Before the cold weather I was getting about 270 miles on a tank of gas. I drive 100 miles on the interstate per tank, during the week I just drive to school and I don't really drive the car hard. However, on the weekends I run the crap out of it. Latly I have only been getting around 240 miles per tank. Wondering what everybody else is getting milage wise per tank.

There are a few of us who are a little concerned or pissed that we don't get anywhere near the gas milage that GM promised. Bone stock, fully inflated tires, and conservative highway driving and the best I could pull was ~24mpg on a few different occasions. The other day, I only got 16mpg in city driving... and I don't have a lead foot typically. That is ****-poor for a stock 6-speed IMO that is marketed to get 24/28

I will say that they were right on with the 1/4 mile and dyno numbers though, so I will be content with the milage I guess. It obviously isn't an engine problem because the power is there...

I'm not worried about gas milage, i was just curious. I take that 4 banger message as an insult. I have more V8's in my garage right now then you ever will.

I dont get sh_t for mileage with A4 and 2.73 rearend best ever was 22 on interstate going 70 babing the hell out of it. I know its not an import econobox but the point is why do these cars seem to have large differences in the mileage

I see a lot of stop n go traffic so I usually average around 14... On a recent highway trip I got around 23 and that was with a lot of 6 gear cruising... Oh well. Gotta love the fact I just paid $2.09 per gallon of 91 and it's only going to get worse. I've actually seen it as high as $2.30 out here. Still, tho - wouldn't trade my V8 for anything (except maybe a V12)!

I usually see 17-18 in city driving in my M6/3.42gears cammed car with lots of spirited driving.

On the way back from SLP Day, I saw 25mpg cruising in 6th gear @ 85mph.

21 mph combined highway/city with 4.11 gears and M6. Plus, I have a lead foot! I'm not complaining Still have the stock cam though.

Dude i just checked my window sticker and it said 19 city/ 28 hwy. Not 24 city. As for stock track times mine ran 13.40 at 106.5mph, and i was not a good m6 driver! I guess these cars vary alot at times. I wouldnt trade mine for anything! (Within reason)
