Default well my engine went bye bye lol

long story short . . . HYDROLOCKED!!!!! lol so i'll be buying a forged 347 or forged 383 and looking into who makes better pistons, rods etc etc. reason for forged is because my buddy was tellin me the rods are the weakpoint on these engines and i'm starting to believe that but then again that was alot of water lol engine wont be seeing any nitrous at all EVER nor a power adder. i'm hopin to put a nice size cam in it but nothing to aggressive i think (but who knows i might change my mind) the FAST isn't worth it in my opinion so i wont be buying one of those ($1200 for 10 rwhp???? not worth it if you don't have the money to throw around. i'll rather spend it on the block itself) and i already have a good idea on the heads i'll be purchasing, the 799 heads with new valve train and sodium filled valves. so any suggestions would be good and i'm lookin to buy the engine in the next 5-8 months from either Texas-Speed or Scoggin Dickey Parts Center.

Why not a cheap 408 with L92 and LS3 intake?? You save the fast investment and have badass heads for 1 grand! sorry for the loss BTW..

If under a tight budget, a forged 370 could be nice too.

rather have a forged motor with smaller cubes, plus i plan on using my LS6 intake and most of the outer accessories once cleaned up lol remember the U/D pulley is brand new with the oil pump and chain at least . . . but then again i haven't starting taking it apart yet
