How much can a 5.3 iron block be bored?

How much can a 5.3 be bored and is it the same casting as a 6.0 lq9 block ??

no, the 6.0 block is different from the 4.8/5.3 block

I have read in more than one source that the 4.8/5.3 blocks have the same sleeves as the LS1/LS6 blocks. They just weren't bored as large. So knievel/ blue99 are correct...maximum bore would be the same as a LS1/LS6 or ~3.905

pretty much what they said, It is basicly an iron LS1 with smaller holes
