Question rebuild cost

im going to be purchasing a heads cam package from tsp so assuming around 2200 dollars for my top end parts any ideas on cost to get a bottom end rebuild for a spun bearing plus the $2200 worth of parts? ive got around 5500 in the bank now and will probly have around $7500 when im ready to pull the trigger. will this cover it?

you can acutally buy a new LS6 shortblock from Scoggin Dickey for about $2500 i think . . . if it were me i'd buy the new shortblock but i really don't know your plans for your H/C and future plans

well my block only has 70000 on it. im going to put heads and a cam on anyways so if my block is in decent condition why not use it? i dont see chucking it if it can be cleaned up and used again.

it should cover it even if you by a forged long block from tsp.

well i hope so, my car has been sitting for over a year now. its time to awaken the beast once more...and this time she'll be nastier than ever! im tired of having to walk past it everyday to go get in my honda...
