im no ls1 master tech or anything man but i have built a couple of head cam cars and im never scared to ask questions to the guys at thunder racing or darren blanchard. Just my opinoon but the tsunami is way to big 1 of my best friends has a 2000 ss afr 205 heads and thunder racings trak cam. it runs 11.8 at 119 all day spinning first lol. there is no need for that much cam. if your set on buying everything from texas speed id get the heads your planning on with the torquer v2. Go ahead and do the fuel pump the added power will put the stock one through its paces quick. pm me if you have any more questions

Looks like this thread is going in a bad direction. I will agree with 99LS1Bird too. If you are planning on a straight track car and looking for a max effort, donkey shlong cams are really needed especially when launching with a big converter. They make great power but the best power producing cam size I have seen are 231/237ish .600/.600ish cams on the stock motor with a set of really good heads. If the car will see any street action then I would say go with something like that. Then again bro, it is your car and you do what you want to do fella. Just trying to help point you in a good direction. Don't know why SOMbitch is all bent out of shape in your thread.

DVS99trans you would be too if you spent the money for heads and cam and people are beating you for less than half the money..

OP if i were you i would go with the prc ls6 2.5s and a torq 2...i have seen a lot of good performing cars with that set up...Goodluck!!!!
