I currently have a 231/237 112 cam in my 2000 Trans am. I was able to trap 118-119mph with this cam, but i am tossing around the idea of going bigger. Is this something that would be worthwhile or would the gains be negligible? Shoot me some recommendations! thanks

its not worth the 10-15 hp or all the work, if you can find some heads for close to the same price do that if not speen the 350-600 bucks on gears or something else if you dont already have them

I wouldn't change. That cam is pretty descent in size anyway.
I would do either heads, gear or nitrous. Depending on your goals
You can always take some weight out? Just a thought

I forgot to mention that i have a 9" rear end with 3.73 gears. I have a nitrous kit, i am not set on using it anymore, not my thing really. Car was a beast on the bottle though clicked off some high 120's traps and pulled some fast cars ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
The cam swap is not all THAT hard, my buddy has it down to a science. Figured i would ask, just a thought.
Maybe i will step up to some 4.11 gears, the car bogs like a bitch at the track with the 3.73's
