They really do put a weak piece of **** sensor in a stupid ******* spot, with objects surrounding it just waiting to snap it off. And above all you need a "special" ******* socket to take it off! DAMNNNN you GM!!!

Haha but anyways I of course did it the first time around. Intake has been off three or four times since and the brake booster hose is always the first disconnected.

You read my mind and this brings me to my next couple of questions:

A) what kind of socket am I looking for to install it?
B) what's the torque specification when I put the new one it?

they have the socket at any auto parts store and it fits all chevy oil sensors
i torque it to about 18flb

Now that would **** me off! It's one thing to get pissed at someone else for screwing up, but when you do it yourself it's even worse. You don't have anyone to blame!

i just broke mines the same way the op did lol..this was my first time taking it off to swap for an ls6 intake i found my sensor here..
