...but, I'm running it in a stroked 383 LS6 block. With all supporting mods and a good non-slipping clutch, i put down 500 rear wheel HP!
But, based on "what i have read" I thought a 224/224 was basically the largest cam to be installed into a stock long block with stock heads, without the need to fly cut.
I measured my setup, with aftermarket JE pistons with reliefs (AFR 205 heads), and I'm pretty close on the PTV tolerances.
So definitely measure your setup!

I'm running tis cam with Dart non ported heads and I didn't have to fly cut the pistons. I went from a Comp 224/224- 581/581, and wish I would've got the 233/239 first. I really like this cam with my setup.
ls6 heads or PRC LS6 heads not sure yet but i got a circle d 3200 stall in right now. i might go a bit higher once i get the cam in like 3600-4000

, good to hear alota guys are liking this cam cant wait to get it put in
