I am still trying to figure out where i have to port the oil pump on mine and get the high pressure spring, but yea, the stock rockers and lifters will be fine.

I am running all of that, well LS7 lifters, which are practically stock, stock replacement.

Who said you have to run tsp ported oil pump?

Stock rockers and lifters will work, but I'd prefer to at least upgrade the lifters.

Installing the oil pump is not necessary, but recommended since it'll be coming off anyways.

You could possibly survive with stockers. I'm cam only with a little smaller cam (torquer2) and run the stock injectors with no problems.

I am on stock injectors, but they are a ticking time bomb. Don't remember the exact duty cycle when I got it tuned, but before I add anything else, or just as soon as I can afford a re-tune, new injectors and figure out my next move, injectors will be added.

i was told by a tuner that stock injectors hold up to around 400rwhp and i know from tsp that an ms4 should be 430rwhp. had wondered what you guys experienced. injectors add alotta cost.

My brother has an ms4 cam and had to upgrade to 42# injectors. He also added the ported LS6 pump, just for protection.

The pump doesnt have to be ported. I ran the stock LS6 pump on one car and the ported one from SDPC on the other. Ported pump will allow more volume and I noticed that my oil pressure was slightly lower at idle.

MS4 w/ 243s here..I broke a few rockers..so I went to yellaterras. Some say they will work some say replace them. Try it and see I guess. 42#ers are a must!! Leans out up top and there goes your motor...While your in there you might as well get LS2 chain, oil pump..Im ganna vote yes on, Ported.. Dont need it but doesnt hurt.

You can use stock rockers and lifters. If your budget allows i would upgrade both. The MS4 has aggressive lobes which is hard on valvetrain components. Im running a MS4 on a 112LSA with stock rockers and lifters. I would definitely upgrade injectors since you'll be somewhere around 90% duty cycle with stock injectors, which isnt good for the injectors or injector drivers in the PCM. As far as the oil pump, an LS6 oil pump ported or unported would be a good choice.

problem with the yella terras is weight, we have ran several cars with close to or the same cam as a ms4 and always go back to the stockers with upgraded bearings. unless you set the valve train up specifically with the yella terras in mind you are likely leaving a few rpms on the table due to valve float. we do the bearing upgrade here for 255.00

I have a ms4, ported pump, stock lifters and after market springs of course. What kind of heads can you run with a stock bottom end with clearance issues?

I didnt have a ms4 but had a LG G5x4 which might be bigger or smaller but it a big cam alright. I used stock everything except pushrods. You dont need a ported oil pump but I used one because it was free. I also used stock injectors as well.

Do you have to send in your stock LS1's to get upgraded? Or do you have sets ready to go? If so are these the LS7 replacement rockers?
