So how much difference are we talking here on 112lsa and 114lsa? I have a 112lsa right now and I like it. Course its only a C1 and only 346ci.

So many choices lol.

I strongly doubt a 240/240//114 would idle like stock, it will lope but it will have a consistent lope that you get with a 114-116 cam.

The 112 stuff really does not idle as well as 114-116 stuff, it's noticeable for sure.

I think unless you are spraying a 300 shot or bigger I would just spec the cam for NA but have a little wider LSA.

ie: 240/240 114LSA would idle like stock at 900rpm. With the added compression it would make crazy torque too.

Cheers,
Chris
I am starting with a 200 and then later on max out at a 300 shot.
So I think the same in my sig will do pretty good on motor and spray.

I am spraying 150 wet shot and will be dyno tunning it in the spring, it's winter here so no solid runs on the new setup.. The TR 236 is still considered a mild cam with this setup. But is where in need to be for Nitros.. The larger injectors are a must and the 1 7/8 headers as well for this setup. I am hoping to get my hands on a LSX intake before i get it dynoed..I was told because of the cubes.. at the least a LS6 intake has to be used as well.. Sorry to ramble. Just adding that its more then just the cam that makes this setup work.. I am hoping to be laying down some good numbers. I also have a ls6 crank in my block.

your right,

and you cant go short on the heads either
I have noticed the key with these strokers is to go with a pretty nice size cam, 1 7/8" headers, stage 3 heads, and of course all the bolt ons.

I wonder how much hp gain will be with the LSX vs the LS6 on our stroker motor? I would guess maybe a 5rwhp gain over the LS6.
The LS6 seems to flow very well
I am not sure if the money the LSX is going to be is worth the gain
